The Guarded Wellness Home Independence Plan, serves as an alternative to traditional long term care insurance, in fact, this plan is not insurance at all. It is a service contract that can provide amazing stand alone features or it can function as a supplement to your long term care insurance policy.

Home Independence Plans provide care 5 hours per day, 5 days per week and allow you to recuperate in the comfort of your own home! Should you need care beyond 5 hours per day, subject to a Guarded Wellness authorized RN and physicians evaluation, our plans can provide care 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Plan Features and Options

All Home Independence Plans consist of a base benefit, a customizable number of service hours to meet your individual needs. Each of our standard plans can also be customized with the addition of one or more plan options.

Shared Option
Service hours are pooled and shared between two related members.

First Use Option
Service hours are available to the member who needs them first

Resurgence Option
90 days post need of services, hours return to initial levels

Assurance Option
Refunds a percentage of the annual base benefit fee if the plan is unused
